Advice, recommendations, information

Keep moving - the more sedentary that you are the more you will find that your joints stiffen up and your muscles weaken and tighten

Exercise regularly - government advice is that we all take 150 minutes of moderate activity (cycling, fast walking) or 75 minutes of high intensity activity (running, tennis) - or a mixture of the two - every week (www.nhs.uk)

Address your posture - we all lead much more sedentary lives these days, and with all of the time that we spend looking at our various devices, extra strain is put on our spines as we crane our necks and lean forwards. Imagine that you are a marionette puppet and lift upwards from the top of your head

Stay hydrated - osteopaths believe that the free movement of fluids in the body is key to health, so keep topping up the water to help fluid movement
